React front end developer to make some enhancements for my app

We're looking for a skilled React developer to implement a series of enhancements to our eCommerce web application. Our platform includes product listings, user accounts, cart and checkout flows, payment integrations, and promotional logic. We need someone who can confidently work across these areas, deliver clean and scalable code, and collaborate closely with our QA engineer who will be testing these updates.

You should have strong experience building modern React applications using hooks, functional components, and state management patterns (Context API or Redux).

Familiarity with TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, and reusable component design is important. Since this is an eCommerce environment, comfort working with complex UI interactions, pricing and inventory logic, asynchronous data flows, and integration points like payment providers is highly valued.

Experience with modern build tools, Git-based workflows, and CI pipelines is a plus.

Project Scope:

Implement UI and functional enhancements across key eCommerce flows

Update and refine components related to product pages, cart, checkout, and payments

Integrate with backend APIs and ensure consistent data handling

Work closely with our QA engineer to support testing and validation

Improve performance, maintainability, and user experience

Ensure coding best practices and proper documentation

Key Technologies:

React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux/Context API, REST/GraphQL APIs, modern CSS frameworks, Git, CI/CD, and general familiarity with payment or checkout-related integrations.

Deliverables:

New and updated UI components and features

Clean, maintainable code aligned with best practices

Documentation for new functionality

Support during QA testing to ensure smooth releases

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
