Microsoft 365 M365 / Intune: IT Support Task – Hubstaff Deployment & Local Admin Permissions

Refine my organization's system setup.

IT Task - Deploy Core Applications & Chrome Policies via Intune

I would like the following programs and configurations to be deployed automatically to all Windows 365 Cloud PCs via Microsoft Intune:

1. Application Deployment

Please configure Intune to silently deploy these applications to all enrolled devices (current and future staff Windows 365 desktops):

Hubstaff (already uploaded - please troubleshoot deployment failures)

1Password desktop application

1Password browser extension (Chrome & Edge)

Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise with Outlook enabled

Google Chrome browser

(Optional: add Slack, Teams, etc.)

Apps should install automatically without requiring local admin permissions (Intune).

2. Chrome Browser Configuration

Set up Chrome Enterprise policies via Intune so that:

Predefined bookmarks/favorites appear for all employees

Certain tabs/homepages are automatically loaded

Required Chrome Extensions (Hubstaff, 1Password, etc.) install automatically

Chrome sync and profile auto-sign-in are enabled

3. Local Admin Permissions

Confirm that the staff's Windows 365 desktops receive local admin policy changes OR adjust Intune policy so Hubstaff and similar apps do not require elevation.

4. Auto-Deployment for Future Users

Ensure that new users automatically receive:

Hubstaff

1Password

Outlook (Microsoft 365 Apps)

Chrome with pre-set favorites and extensions

as soon as their Windows 365 Cloud PC is provisioned.

Configure policies to ensure deployment is consistent across all Microsoft 365 remote desktop devices.

Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.

Languages: Russian. You are expected to have a fluent level of English.
