Kumo builds Relational Foundation Models designed for structured and relational data. While large language models focus on text, Kumo enables predictive intelligence directly from enterprise relational systems.

We are defining a new category and need someone who can communicate it clearly, visually, and convincingly.

The Role

This is primarily a video-first Developer Advocate role - Contract to Hire

We are looking for someone who can consistently produce high-quality, engaging technical videos that developers actually want to watch.

You will:

Create compelling, polished technical video content on a regular cadence

Rapidly build demo applications in Python to showcase Kumo

Turn product capabilities into visual, understandable narratives

Clearly explain how Kumo differs from LLM-based approaches

Make advanced concepts feel intuitive and exciting

What You Will Actually Spend Most of Your Time Doing

Recording and producing podcast-quality technical videos

Building demo apps specifically for video walkthroughs

Explaining Relational Foundation Models using analogies and real-world examples

Creating short-form and long-form technical content

Iterating quickly on new content ideas

This role is output-driven. If you can ship high-quality videos quickly, you will thrive here.

What Great Looks Like

You already have strong public technical videos we can review

Your video and audio quality are crisp and professional

You are a native or fully fluent English speaker (without accent)

You are confident, natural, and engaging on camera

You can explain complex technical ideas in simple, clear language

You use analogies, storytelling, and examples to make ideas stick

You have solid Python skills and a practical understanding of machine learning concepts

You understand ML at least at a strong working level and can confidently demo workflows

You can clearly articulate:

What a Relational Foundation Model is

Why relational data is different from text

Why Kumo is not just another ML tool

This Role Is Not for You If

You do not enjoy being on camera

You cannot independently build demo applications

You struggle to communicate clearly in English

You prefer theory over practical demonstrations

You cannot produce high-quality video content consistently

Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
