full stack expert PHP

We are looking for an experienced PHP & MySQL developer to modify and enhance an existing browser-based strategy game script (similar to Travian / Tatar Wars).

This is NOT a new development project.

The script already exists and is fully functional.

We need improvements, fixes, and feature additions.

Current Script Environment

PHP 7.4

MySQL Database

Backend logic is interconnected and requires careful modification

Live server environment

Scope of Work

Analyze and understand existing legacy PHP code

Fix logic issues if found

Add new game features (details will be shared privately)

Improve performance and database queries

Ensure code stability after modifications

Maintain full compatibility with existing database structure

Required Skills

Strong PHP (7.x) experience

Advanced MySQL knowledge

Experience working with legacy / complex codebases

Experience in browser-based games

Understanding of game logic systems (resources, battles, timing, alliances)

Ability to refactor without breaking the system

Basic frontend (HTML/CSS/JS) knowledge

Not Suitable For

Beginners

WordPress-only developers

Developers without backend game experience

Preferred

Experience with Travian-style scripts

Experience modifying existing game engines

Portfolio of similar work

Additional Notes

The codebase is tightly connected, so modifications must be done carefully and professionally.

We are looking for a long-term collaboration if performance is satisfactory.

game is by arabic so I prefer arab full stuck

Contract duration of less than 1 month.
