Frontend Developer Needed to Elevate UI/UX of an Existing Web App

I'm looking for an experienced frontend freelancer to improve the design quality, usability, and responsiveness of an existing web application.

This is not a greenfield build.

The app is already functional, and I need someone who can upgrade the interface to feel cleaner, faster, and more polished across desktop and mobile.

Project details are private and will be shared only with shortlisted candidates under NDA.

What You'll Do

Audit current frontend screens and identify UX/UI improvements

Refine layout, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and component consistency

Improve responsiveness and cross-browser behavior

Enhance accessibility and frontend quality standards

Implement improvements directly in code with clean, maintainable structure

Required Skills

Strong React frontend experience

Solid UI/UX design judgment for product interfaces

Strong CSS skills (modern layout systems, component styling, responsive design)

Experience improving existing codebases, not just building from scratch

Clear communication and reliable async updates

Nice to Have

Design system experience

Accessibility expertise (WCAG)

Experience with data-heavy dashboards or admin interfaces

Deliverables

Prioritized UI/UX improvement plan

Implemented frontend updates on agreed screens/components

Short handoff notes documenting key changes
