Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Needed

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP consultant to help us better utilize and optimize our existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system.

The platform is already implemented and operational, but several modules are underutilized and require structured planning, better configuration, and management-level visibility.

This role involves understanding our current workflows, guiding us on best practices, and helping us design a more effective system structure rather than only making technical changes.

Scope of Work:

• Conduct detailed discussions with our team to understand:
• Current usage of Business Central
• Gaps in implementation
• Management reporting requirements
• Existing operational workflows
• Advise on best practices for structuring:
• Product data and item details
• Account grouping and reporting structure
• Production planning workflows
• Endtoend process flow (PO → Production → Inventory → Shipment)
• Help identify which modules and features we should be using but currently are not
• Guide management on what is possible within Business Central
• Work alongside our existing implementation partner, who can execute changes based on your recommendations

Current Requirements:

We specifically want help with:

• Improving data structuring and product information setup
• Creating meaningful management reports and dashboards
• Implementing production planning properly
• Designing a clear operational flow across departments
• Increasing overall ERP utilization and efficiency

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong handson experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Experience working with manufacturing companies (pharma/chemical experience is a plus)
• Ability to understand business operations and translate them into ERP structure
• Capable of advising senior management, not just technical teams
• Experience in system optimization, reporting setup, and workflow planning

• System optimization plan
• Reporting structure suggestions
• Guidance on module utilization and implementation priorities
