Developer (Design + Frontend) — Austrian Transport Website

We are looking for a / React frontend developer who can handle both design and development — someone who can take a reference site, make good visual decisions, and build it clean.

The current codebase is already in place.

You will be implementing a set of UI/UX improvements based on a client-approved reference site, with room to bring your own design judgment.

TECH STACK

• 15 (App Router)
• TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS
• Vercel deployment

WHAT WE NEED

• Someone who can design AND build, not just execute a Figma file
• Comfortable working in an existing codebase
• AIassisted workflow (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar)
• Clean, wellstructured code (Biome linting configured)
• Responsive/mobilefirst approach

NICE TO HAVE

• German language skills (content is in German/Austrian)
• Experience with transport or service websites

PROCESS

• We share the repo and reference site on Day
• Iterative review with client feedback rounds
• Communication via GitHub or Slack

Please include examples of projects where you made design decisions yourself.

Contract duration of 3 to 6 months.
