Based on past experience, the client typically lands a comparable role within 1 to 3 months when actively hunting.

He is leaving his current position at the end of February and prefers to delegate this process entirely — freeing his time for other priorities rather than running a job search himself.

The right hunter takes this off his plate completely.

A cybersecurity SaaS company, ~90 employees, PAM and password management for MSPs. Nine-figure growth investment raised, ARR scaled 20x with no prior external capital, 4,000+ customers. This is an exclusive arrangement — one hunter at a time. The engagement is time-limited and agreed upfront.

If the client self-places during the engagement, the hunter is fairly compensated for work completed to that point — terms defined in the agreement.

Payment is structured around actual client earnings — no hire, no payment:

Base fee — released after client receives first salary payment

Salary bonus — released after second and third salary payments, scaled to final compensation above $100K baseline

Perk-based bonus — to be agreed per perk type and payout timing (e.g. stock vesting, sign-on bonus receipt, benefits activation)

Partial fee — if client self-places during engagement, hunter is compensated fairly for work completed to that point

All milestones, bonus triggers, and perk-based terms are defined in a written agreement signed before work begins.

The agreement can be legally notarized or formalized through appropriate legal channels to ensure all parties are protected and the client honors the agreed terms.
