Build API integration with Shipping Provider into existing Freight Platform .NET

Full Stack Developer (.NET / Vue / JavaScript) – API Integration project with scope for ongoing work.

Senior, lead developer position.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with deep experience in modern .NET and Vue/JavaScript frameworks.If you are comfortable moving quickly from idea to working code, know how to leverage AI tools as a force multiplier (not a crutch), and enjoy building clean, maintainable systems end-to-end, we would like to hear from you.

• Build an API integration with MachShip into our existing Freight Booking Platform.
• It will require integration with existing code, SAP payments backend (Adding to existing Cron job payload data from bookings, not building the SAP link)

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years professional experience as a full stack or backend-focused developer (or equivalent demonstrable skill).
• Strong proficiency with .NET (ASP.NET Core, C#) and building APIs and back-end services.
• Solid experience with and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

Strong understanding of web application architecture, including:

o REST APIs

o Authentication/authorisation (e.g. JWT, OAuth2, Clerk)

o Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar)

• Experience with source control (Git) and common branching strategies.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of features, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

Important Expertise

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Background in building SaaS products or high-availability web applications.
• Experience integrating with external APIs or third-party services.

A short cover note explaining:

An example application coded with AI assistance (mandatory):

o A link to a Git repository (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) for a small application you have built.

I am looking to do this as a fixed price contract, I put forward your best price after considering the scope of works.
