SAP ABAP Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and consulting sector, is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to join their dynamic team. As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting various SAP modules and technical projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive within the organization and contribute to innovative solutions.

Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Brampton, ON - work is hybrid 4 days onsite.

Pay Range: $75hr + HST Incorporated.

Contract duration: 6 months

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP solutions using ABAP, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Develop complex Object-Oriented ABAP components, such as classes, interfaces, and custom frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Utilize expertise with BADI, User Exists, Web services, and IDOCs to optimize SAP processes.
• Maintain and enhance existing SAP systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience with ABAP development in SAP environments.
• Strong technical skills in designing and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP.
• Deep understanding of SAP modules, especially FI, POSDTA, and Condition Contracts Management (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience working with BADI, User Exists, Web services, and IDOCs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
