Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Healthcare Specialist located in Washington, DC. The Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for providing first-line medical assistance, delivering training programs, and ensuring the well-being of individuals in various capacities. Daily tasks include administering basic medical care, improving health and wellness practices, conducting healthcare training sessions, and maintaining detailed documentation for compliance requirements. Collaboration with team members and effective communication are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) practices and general medicine knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and patient care
• Experience in conducting healthcare training and education programs
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare and wellness practices
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic on-site environment
• Certification as an EMT or in a related healthcare field is preferred
• CPR or First Aid certification, with knowledge of current healthcare standards, is an advantage
