Junior It Administrator

We are seeking a Junior IT Administrator who is keen to grow their skills in areas like Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and other Microsoft 365 services. Basic experience with ticketing systems and an understanding of service management are advantageous. A customer service-oriented approach, even when under guidance.
The ability to handle multiple tasks with support from senior team members.
This role will specialize in IT Administration of systems and services to support the Fortreum business, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Perform basic hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates of Fortreum workstations and systems.
Set up, manage, and support user access to M365 services.
Assist in managing user endpoints including both Windows and Mac workstations.
Support the monitoring and basic troubleshooting of cloud services like Microsoft Intune and Office 365 under supervision.
Use JIRA for tracking and prioritizing IT support requests (helpdesk queue and task prioritization).
Provide customer service by responding to and resolving IT-related queries from employees and clients (supporting our XRAMP Platform).
Work collaboratively with the IT team to ensure service continuity.
Follow and help enforce basic security protocols to protect data and IT infrastructure.
This is a hybrid position, with an expectation that onsite work will be requested on a 1-2 day a week basis with additional time onsite as required to resolve physical issues at our Lansdowne office.
Business travel is not expected.
Associate's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Some experience or internship in an IT support role.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Management tools like Intune and workstation management.
Understanding of basic service management principles.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks with supervision and can work autonomously to complete tasks.
