Westwood High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of **Junior High Science and Options Teacher**.

• *Requirements:** The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:
• Bachelor of Education.
• Experience teaching in a junior high school setting, with knowledge of junior high school science programs of study.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Assessment for Learning, Literacy, and Differentiated Instruction practices.
• Effective organizational and classroom management skills are imperative.
• Ability to integrate and use technology in a regular and virtual classroom.
• Ability to create goals for Individual Program Plans as well as implement the plan for students.
• A strong ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Strong technology skills are required, with knowledge of Google Platform applications and PowerSchool an asset.
• Flexible TEAM player.
