You'll assist with various tasks such as reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and verifying employee expense claims. You will also support the month-end closing processes alongside seasoned professionals to improve your financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record monthly bank transactions and service charges
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and vendor statements
- Verify employee expense claims and maintain filing systems
- Prepare reports for revenues and accounts receivable
- Assist with month-end closings and annual audit processes
Requirements
- Two years of experience in an accounting role
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Familiarity with ACCPAC is an asset
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
