Job Description
About Us
Form & Affect is a boutique digital agency based in the Niagara Region. Since 2013 we've built a reputation for thoughtful strategy and careful execution across a client roster that spans local independent businesses to national brands. We work across a lot of categories, and we bring the same level of care to all of them. We're a small, grounded team that cares about quality and character in equal measure.
We're growing the team and looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who takes their work seriously, sweats the details, and genuinely enjoys the variety that comes with agency life. Ours is an ego-free zone where being good to work with is taken just as seriously as the quality of your work. If that hits home, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
This is an 18-month contract position with the potential to become permanent for the right person. You'll own the social media presence of a portfolio of regional and national clients, from strategy and content creation through to community management and reporting. That means developing content calendars, writing captions, designing assets, conceptualizing and producing short-form video, and keeping each brand's voice consistent across every post and platform.
Beyond organic social, you'll contribute to paid Meta and Google campaigns, email marketing, blog content, and proposal support as the work demands. If you've juggled multiple client accounts at once and have the creative range to move between brands without losing the thread, this role will suit you well.
What You'll Do
- Manage organic social media across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for a portfolio of clients, adapting to each brand's voice and audience
- Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring a consistent and on-brand presence across all channels
- Conceptualize, produce, and edit short-form social video content for Reels, Stories, and other formats
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster community across client channels
- Design static social assets that are visually polished and on-brand
- Support paid campaigns on Meta and Google Ads, from setup through to reporting
- Write and deploy email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance analysis
- Plan and create blog content
- Pull reporting data and translate it into clear, useful summaries for clients
- Communicate proactively with clients on performance, timelines, and recommendations
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of digital marketing experience, with meaningful time spent managing social media for multiple brands or clients
- A strong creative sensibility and the ability to adapt tone, style, and content approach across different audiences
- Hands-on experience conceptualizing and producing short-form social video
- Solid design skills and comfort working in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
- A natural ability to write copy that fits the brand
- Exceptionally organized, with systems and habits to prove it. Managing multiple client accounts means nothing falls through the cracks and nobody has to chase you for updates
- Clear, confident communication with clients, including the ability to explain performance data in plain language
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and analytics platforms
Bonus Points For
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
- Experience with A/B testing ad creative or email subject lines
- Experience using AI tools to meaningfully augment your work, with the judgment to know when it helps and when it doesn't. Familiarity with automation, MCPs, or APIs is a plus
What We Offer
- An 18-month contract with potential to grow into a permanent role
- Remote position with occasional in-person meetings required
- Variety: no two clients are the same, and the work reflects that
- A small team with a high bar for quality, where your contributions are visible and valued
