Join Ford of Canada's Manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Engineer in Oakville, Ontario, leading state-of-the-art smart vehicle production. Contribute your engineering expertise to enhance efficiency and quality across assembly plants. This critical role entails delivering Manufacturing Delivery Quality Operating System requirements and ensuring optimal operator workstations for assembly launches. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage costs while improving quality and reducing labor in vehicle assembly. Your technical skills will be pivotal in the resolution of assembly engineering issues and in leading various manufacturing phases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage process sheets and Cycle Line Layouts for launches
  • Collaborate with teams on facility and tooling costs
  • Evaluate feasibility of new model designs with virtual tools
  • Lead manufacturing assembly builds across North America
  • Create master schedules for tooling design and implementation Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of 3D CAD experience (Teamcenter, CATIA)
  • 2+ years of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis knowledge
  • Willingness to travel within North America
