Supply Chain Manager (SCM Manager)

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and internal customer (Operations) service support.

The role requires strong execution capability to ensure timely material availability, inventory accuracy, cost optimization, and service excellence, while maintaining structured process discipline and cross-functional alignment across departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Management

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle (PR to PO closure)
• Ensure timely sourcing aligned with operational requirements
• Drive cost optimization through negotiations and alternate sourcing
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and performance tracking
• Monitor procurement timelines and ensure delivery adherence
• Ensure compliance with commercial processes and statutory requirements (including GST)

2. Inventory and Store Operations

• Oversee inventory planning to maintain optimum stock levels
• Ensure high inventory accuracy using ERP or SAP systems
• Implement bin management and cycle counting practices
• Control excess and slow-moving inventory
• Ensure compliance with audits and inventory control standards
• Maintain stock reconciliation processes

3. Logistics and Distribution

• Plan and manage transportation and dispatch operations
• Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
• Optimize logistics cost through vendor selection and route planning
• Track shipments and ensure POD closure
• Ensure adherence to packaging and safety protocols

4. Internal Customer Operations (CRM Support)

• Track and close customer complaints, service requests, and warranty cases
• Ensure issue closure within defined SLAs
• Monitor open cases and ageing
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution
• Support improvement of customer satisfaction

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Procurement

• Timely PR to PO conversion
• Delivery adherence 95 percent or above
• GRPO and quality clearance within 24 hours
• Cost optimization between 10 to 15 percent
• Control of pending requisitions within TAT

Inventory

• Inventory accuracy 98 percent or above
• Zero critical stock-outs
• Full compliance with bin management
• Inventory variance below 2 percent
• Reduction of slow-moving inventory

Logistics

• On-time dispatch 95 percent or above
• Cost optimization between 10 to 15 percent
• Complete shipment tracking and POD closure
• Delay incidents below 5 percent

Customer Operations

• SLA closure 95 percent or above
• Controlled issue ageing
• No cases beyond turnaround timelines
• Improvement in customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics
• MBA preferred

Experience

• 8 to 15 years in end-to-end supply chain operations
