IT Support Specialist – CAD / PDM / PLM

About the Role

Are you passionate about engineering IT systems and enabling high-performance design environments? We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to manage and support our CAD, PDM, and PLM ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless system performance, integration, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to engineering teams for CAD, PDM, and PLM systems
• Install, configure, and maintain engineering software applications
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide first-level support
• Act as a liaison between internal users and external software vendors
• Monitor and manage data flow across CAD, PDM, and ERP systems
• Guide users on system configuration, best practices, and effective usage
• Perform root cause analysis for system issues and implement solutions
• Monitor system performance and carry out optimization activities
• Manage and track software license usage

Additional Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Citrix-based desktop virtualization environments

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in CONTACT PLM (CONTACT Elements) will be preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting CAD/PDM systems
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks & AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of CAD, PDM, and ERP system integration
• Experience working with Citrix-based virtualization platforms
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
