Customs Compliance and Logistics Coordinator

Support logistics operations as a Customs Compliance Coordinator. Ensure customs compliance, manage import/export processes, and liaise with various teams for cross-border shipping accuracy.

This position entails performing professional customs compliance tasks and collaborating with the Customs Compliance Manager, plant-level logistics managers, and finance staff. You will be responsible for importing and exporting compliance, as well as maintaining classification accuracy for goods. Expect to assist with inquiries and support CARM-related activities in Canadian plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with CBSA and CBP guidelines
• Coordinate import/export declarations and certificates
• Classify goods per Harmonized Tariff Schedule
• Maintain database for material classification
• Assist plants with customs-related inquiries

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in customs brokerage or manufacturing
• 5 years experience in goods classification
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
• Certified Customs Specialist required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
