Job Description

Flex is a growth-stage, NYC headquartered FinTech company that is creating the best rent payment experience. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2026 and paying rent on time is expensive, inflexible, and difficult. We’re here to change that! Flex enables our users to pay rent throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances and budget. Our mission is to empower as many renters as possible with flexibility over their most significant recurring expense. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we are looking for motivated individuals to help us keep our mission growing. Will you be a part of the team?

About the Role

As Flex's Contract Lead Talent Partner, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing through handoff to onboarding — serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to hiring leads across Strategy & Operations, Compliance, Legal, People, Finance and Revenue. This is a high-autonomy role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, requiring you to manage competing priorities with speed and precision. We anticipate approximately full-time hours per week for up to six months, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business need.

Success in this role looks like building credible relationships with hiring managers quickly, running clean and consistent interview loops through Greenhouse, monitoring pipeline health and pass-through rates, developing closing strategies for senior-level searches with discretion, and continuously leaning into AI tooling and automation workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.

What you'll do

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for multiple open roles across Strategy & Operations, Compliance, Legal, People, Finance and Revenue; from prescreening and interview facilitation through debriefing, offer design, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies informed by market data and hiring trends, leveraging AI tools to build targeted pipelines and personalize outreach at scale.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing counsel on approach, market nuance, and candidate assessment to deliver a best-in-class hiring experience.
  • Design and communicate competitive compensation packages using internal and external benchmark data, leading offer and negotiation conversations with foresight and discretion.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized candidate pipeline in Greenhouse for both inbound and sourced candidates, ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
  • Engage and manage third-party sourcing resources as needed, monitoring pipeline health and escalating vendor issues appropriately.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record across the G&A functions (Strategy & Operations, Compliance, Legal, People, Finance), GTM (Revenue) or Tech.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level searches and negotiate complex total compensation packages independently.
  • Expert command of sourcing strategies, talent attraction, and candidate engagement; including applied use of AI tools for pipeline building, personalized outreach, and screening.
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse (ATS), or the like, with a track record of maintaining clean, audit-ready pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into hiring strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels while operating with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume hiring in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with precision and composure.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with People Operations or equivalent teams on workforce planning and internal mobility.

The national pay range for this role is $75-85 hourly. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience aligned with Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
