We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead key aspects of our accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will own the integrity and efficiency of the close process, drive automation and system enhancements, and partner cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Engineering, and Finance teams. You will play a critical role in scaling accounting operations, improving processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting as the company grows. This is a full-time position based out of our Denver or Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. Technologies You’ll Use Netsuite, Coupa, FloQast, BigQuery, AI Tools What You’ll Do Team Leadership & Development <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Manage, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Establish clear goals, priorities, and accountability across the team </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Drive process standardization and documentation to support scalability </li> </ul> Close & Financial Reporting <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Partner with Technical Accounting on complex accounting areas and new business initiatives </li> </ul> Systems, Automation & Process Improvement <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Lead initiatives to automate and streamline accounting workflows, reducing manual effort and risk </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting accuracy </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Drive system integrations and improvements across financial systems </li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Partner closely with Technical Accounting on policy implementation, revenue recognition considerations, and complex transactions </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Work with Engineering and Data teams to improve data integrity, automate reporting, and support scalable infrastructure </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Collaborate with FP&A, Procurement, and other stakeholders to align on financial insights and operational needs </li> </ul> Controls & Compliance <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Strengthen and maintain internal controls over financial reporting </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Support audit processes (internal and external), including preparation of schedules and documentation </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies </li> </ul> Skills We’re Looking For <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Prior experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology company </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Proven experience managing and developing teams </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Strong understanding of month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting processes </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Hands-on experience with NetSuite and close automation tools (e.g., FloQast) </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Experience working with large datasets or data tools (e.g., BigQuery) is a plus </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Strong cross-functional communication skills, especially with technical teams </li> </ul> Bonus Skills <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> Exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for workflow or productivity enhancements </li> </ul>   #LI-HYBRID #LI-JG1<div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role.  Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
