This role will own the integrity and efficiency of the close process, drive automation and system enhancements, and partner cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Engineering, and Finance teams.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You will play a critical role in scaling accounting operations, improving processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting as the company grows.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This is a full-time position based out of our Denver or Oakland office. Development</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Establish clear goals, priorities, and accountability across the team</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive process standardization and documentation to support scalability</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Close &amp; Financial Reporting</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner with Technical Accounting on complex accounting areas and new business initiatives</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Systems, Automation &amp; Process Improvement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead initiatives to automate and streamline accounting workflows, reducing manual effort and risk</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting accuracy</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Drive system integrations and improvements across financial systems</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Partner closely with Technical Accounting on policy implementation, revenue recognition considerations, and complex transactions</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work with Engineering and Data teams to improve data integrity, automate reporting, and support scalable infrastructure</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with FP&amp;A, Procurement, and other stakeholders to align on financial insights and operational needs</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Controls &amp; Compliance</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strengthen and maintain internal controls over financial reporting</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support audit processes (internal and external), including preparation of schedules and documentation</span></p> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Skills We’re Looking For</span></strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
