Job Responsibilities:

• Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Create compelling analyses and visualizations to improve business decisions and processes.
• Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Develops and implements procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present
• Works with cross functional teams: Ship Center, Merchants, IT, Finance, Store Operations
• Strong understanding of a multi-unit growing retail environment.
• Ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner.
• Audits the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to management.
• Keeps up with changing technologies such as computer software in order to remain valuable to his or her employer.
• Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
• Help with field work for financial and operational audits
• Identify opportunities for systems enhancements and participate in design and testing for system changes.
• Special projects as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and modeling using tools such as Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
• 1 – 4 years relevant work experience
• Proficient in excel & financial operation systems
• Experience with large data sets, statistical analyses, and visualization as well as related tools (e.g. SQL, Python, SAS, R, Matlab, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire).
• Relevant financial experience with merchandise inventory and inventory management
• Must be a problem-solver intent on offering process improvement solutions
• Strong work ethic and self- motivated, with a high degree of flexibility to work in an every-changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; significant interdepartmental communication required
• Ability to interact with cross functional team members and management
