Remote Sports and Recreation Coordinator (Ft McMurray Area) – Position available immediately

Fitness Brigade's expert team implements fitness, recreation, health and wellness programs at remote worksites including oil and gas, mining, construction, defense and security. Our programs are fun, engaging, professional, comprehensive, and holistic. Candidates must hold a current accredited personal training certificate. The individual must be a mature and responsible worker who has a good understanding of professionalism and can thrive in a team work environment.

Compensation

$280 per day

All travel expenses paid (flights From either Calgary or Edmonton to and from the site are provided)

**charter flights are provided to and from Calgary/Ft McMurray, or to and from Edmonton/Ft McMurray**

All meals and accommodation are covered

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, the individual will have duties and responsibilities for executing many elements of the fitness and recreation programs provided to Fitness Brigades Clientele.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Encourage and motivate clients to look at fitness as a positive element in a healthy lifestyle
• Execute personal training sessions and small group fitness classes of various forms
• Lead a variety of specialized workshops that teach clients about the many different topics of health and fitness
• Lead fun events such as paint night, holiday fun events, movie nights etc..
• Scheduling and hosting recreational activities such as baseball tournaments, frisbee games, soccer games, pool tournaments, card tournaments, and other similar social gatherings;
• Scheduling and providing instruction on the use of golf simulators;
• Qualifications:
• High school diploma;
• Personal training certificate
• Computer literate with ability to use word processing programs and spreadsheet programs;
• Sports background preferred
