Windows System Administration

As a Windows System Administrator at FIS, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the application and its core infrastructure, including App, Web, DB, and beacon servers. Your key responsibilities will include:

Building and maintaining beacon servers

Deploying Flexera FlexNet agent

Recording and connecting new vCenters to the FNMS system

Troubleshooting Flexera agent, beacon, core infrastructure servers, and related issues

Collaborating with Stakeholder/IT Asset Management to address requirements and access issues

Coordinating with Patch Management/SVM/Network teams to ensure host security, SVM, and agent coverage compliance

To be successful in this role, you should have:

4-6 years of technical experience in Windows system administration

Good knowledge of Windows servers 2016/2019

Understanding of Internet Information services and SQL database

Basic knowledge of networking principles, components, and protocols

Knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing

Understanding of non-Windows operating systems

Strong troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication skills

Flexibility to work as needed

Good understanding of ITIL

Additionally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
