Job Description

firstPRO is a seeking a Windows Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Windows infrastructure environment. This role focuses on managing the Windows operations ticket queue, identity and access administration, end-user escalations, and assisting with Windows Server provisioning and maintenance. The administrator will collaborate closely with senior engineers and provide hands-on operational support across core Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and own the Windows operations ticket queue end-to-end, including prioritization, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support for end-user issues related to Microsoft platforms and infrastructure services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Support identity and access management activities, including user account provisioning and deprovisioning within Active Directory.
  • Assist with Windows Server builds, provisioning, configuration, and ongoing administration.
  • Support and maintain remote access technologies such as VDI and Citrix environments.
  • Utilize and make minor updates to existing automation scripts; perform manual remediation when required.
  • Communicate ticket progress, risks, and resolution updates effectively with the Windows infrastructure team.
  • Assist with additional Windows infrastructure and system administration tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and basic administration of Microsoft 365 / Exchange.
  • Experience managing and resolving tickets within an ITSM platform.
  • Familiarity with remote access technologies such as VDI and Citrix.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
