Principal Job Announcement

Prince George's Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered leader to serve as Principal. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, a passion for Christian education, and proven instructional leadership experience.

The principal will provide spiritual, academic, and administrative leadership; support faculty and staff; promote academic excellence; and foster a nurturing, biblically grounded school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual Leadership

• Model a vibrant Christian faith and maintain a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Promote a Christ-centered culture throughout the school
• Support integration of biblical worldview across curriculum and school life

Academic Leadership:

• Promote high academic standards and continuous school improvement
• Oversee curriculum alignment with Common Core Standards and instructional resources
• Foster data driven instruction
• Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards

Administrative Leadership:

• Manage daily school operations
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation
• Lead hiring, training, and professional development of staff
• Maintain strong communication with parents, PGCA leadership, and the community

Student Development:

• Foster a safe, nurturing, and disciplined learning environment
• Support student character development and discipleship
• Encourage extracurricular and enrichment programs

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith and agreement with our Statement of Faith
• Master's degree in education or educational leadership
• Administrative certification (as required)
• At least 3 years as a principal
• Prior teaching experience preferred
