Role Overview:
As a Tier 2 Application Support Specialist - Integrations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and maintenance for integration applications in a production environment. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless data exchange, high system availability, and timely issue resolution across various applications and interfaces. You should have a strong understanding of integration technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily production support for integration of applications and related systems.
- Monitor, identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to integration processes, data transfer, and application performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure timely, effective resolution while minimizing business impact.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams (development, operations, infrastructure) and third-party vendors to diagnose and resolve integration-related problems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and new releases to integration platforms and related systems as necessary.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and support business continuity during production incidents.
Key Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of integration technologies such as APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Web Services).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
