Freelance Trainer – Financial Modelling & Equity Research

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate trainer to conduct online training sessions in Financial Modelling, Equity Research, and Valuation.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial modelling, equity research, valuation techniques (DCF is must), financial analysis, and stock market concepts, along with a proven ability to teach and mentor learners effectively.

This role involves delivering practical, industry-oriented training for college students, working professionals, finance aspirants, and stock market investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online training sessions for Financial Modelling, Equity Research & Valuation students.
• Teach core concepts including:
• Financial Modelling (3-statement models, forecasting)
• Valuation techniques (DCF, Comparable Analysis, Precedent Transactions)
• Equity Research (financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, industry & company analysis)
• Guide students in preparing financial models, equity research reports, and investment theses.
• Create/assist in developing study material, presentations, case studies, and recorded lectures.
• Provide hands-on training using real-world companies and live case studies.
• Conduct mock tests, assignments, and doubt-solving sessions.
• Monitor student progress and improve learning outcomes through structured teaching methods.
• Maintain an engaging, professional, and interactive learning environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial modelling, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of:
• Financial statements & analysis
• Valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, transaction analysis)
• Business & industry analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts in a structured manner.
• Prior experience in training/mentoring preferred.
• Comfortable with online tools like Zoom / Google Meet.
