Job Description

• Writing compelling articles, trend pieces, and data-driven explainers using TexPro data and Prime News
• Developing scripts for YouTube videos, podcast episodes, and weekly news briefs
• Creating sharp, platform-native social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
• Turning earnings reports and market data into stories that are actually worth reading
• Conducting interviews with industry executives, designers, analysts, and brand representatives
• Coordinating with content head, video editors, audio producers, and the studio team on content flow and format
• Bringing fresh topic ideas to weekly editorial meetings with clear angles and audience hooks
• Staying ahead of fashion, retail, and textile industry trends and translating them into content

Requirements

• Maximum 3 years of experience in news writing, journalism, or editorial content
• Strong understanding of business and financial news, particularly in fashion, retail, or trade
• Comfortable with data-driven storytelling: you can read a chart and figure the headline
• Experience with primary sourcing, interviews, and fact-based reporting
• Ability to write across formats including long-form articles, short social captions, podcast scripts
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram content best practices
• Strong proofreading, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple content pieces and deadlines simultaneously
