Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities

- Utilize computer networking skills to integrate various security technologies.
- Perform regular inspections of security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support for remote access software and other security applications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, schematics, and service reports.
- Work with low voltage cabling and electrical components to install security devices.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely during installation processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to security engineering.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the installation of various security systems.
- Experience as a service technician in the field of security or telecommunications.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and surveillance technologies.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Experience with locksmithing techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards as they apply to low voltage installations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in construction or technical environments.
