Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carpentry Supervisor to oversee construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of carpenters, coordinate project activities, and ensure that all work adheres to safety standards, blueprints, and schematics. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

The Carpentry

Supervisor will play a critical role in delivering high-quality craftsmanship across various construction sites, including restoration, siding, concrete forming, and finishing.

Duties

• Lead and supervise carpentry crews on commercial interior construction projects
• Perform and oversee steel stud framing, track installation, backing, blocking, and layout
• Ensure all work meets Renerico’s quality standards and project specifications
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and engineered shop drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, site supers, and subcontractors
• Maintain daily task planning, crew assignments, and progress tracking
• Conduct site inspections for safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior carpenters
• Manage materials, deliveries, and tool requirements
• Support a clean, organized, safety‑first job sit
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to quote new and upcoming jobs.

Skills

• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction planning.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including framing, siding, restoration, and woodworking.
• Experience with concrete forming and finishing processes.
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites. Required Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial and residential carpentry experience
• Steel stud framing experience highly preferred
• Experience supervising crews or leading work fronts
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of commercial construction sequencing and interior systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity targets
