Lead the design and evolution of enterprise API and integration platforms supporting complex, high-volume environments. This opportunity offers broad exposure across business systems, modern API architecture, and enterprise-scale integration initiatives while influencing technical strategy and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions using IBM ACE 12/13, API Connect, DataPower, and MQ technologies
• Architect scalable API-led integration frameworks aligned with enterprise security, performance, and governance standards
• Partner with cross-functional engineering, product, and architecture teams to deliver enterprise integration initiatives across multiple business domains
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, reusable services, and microservices-based integration patterns for internal and external consumers
• Drive API management capabilities including authentication, throttling, analytics, caching, monitoring, and logging strategies
• Support DevSecOps practices by integrating secure development standards, CI/CD workflows, and automated deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems while maintaining operational health monitoring and performance reporting
• Mentor engineering teams on enterprise integration best practices, API platform capabilities, and scalable solution delivery

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with deep expertise in IBM API Connect, DataPower, Application Connect Enterprise (ACE), or IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
• Strong background designing and delivering API-led architectures, enterprise integrations, and reusable API solutions
• Experience with API security standards including OAuth2.0, OIDC, RESTful API development, and Agile delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and modern DevOps practices
• Experience supporting distributed, high-volume applications and enterprise-scale transaction systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders
