Part-Time Pharmacist

What you’ll do:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This position plays a key role in providing high-quality clinical pharmacy services to Long Term Care (LTC) facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management and patient outcomes.

Provide clinical oversight for LTC pharmacy services, including medication reviews and care planning. Monitor drug therapies for efficacy and safety; recommend adjustments as needed.Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in LTC facilities to ensure appropriate pharmaceutical care as a representative of Discovery Co-operative Ltd.Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in our Pharmacy Department. Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care. Provide professional advice and counselling on prescription and OTC medications including indications, dosage, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Perform administrative duties in the pharmacy pertaining to customer files.Communicate effectively with clients, interns, team members, health care providers and suppliersAssist with inventory managementAct ethically and professionally at all times with guests, team members, interns, health care providers and suppliersEnsure outstanding courteous guest service is provided at all timesPerform other duties as assigned
