Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor security measures across LAN, WAN, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and on-premises IT systems to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches
• Conduct comprehensive security analysis by reviewing system logs using SIEM tools like Splunk or similar platforms; identify vulnerabilities through vulnerability research and threat hunting
• Manage identity & access management (IAM) processes including LDAP, Active Directory, and multi-factor authentication solutions to ensure secure user authentication and authorization
• Perform incident response activities by investigating security incidents, executing incident recovery protocols, and coordinating with IT teams for effective resolution
• Maintain system security by configuring firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, load balancers, and implementing encryption standards such as FIPS to protect sensitive data
• Conduct IT auditing in accordance with COBIT, ITIL frameworks and compliance requirements like PCI DSS and FISMA; prepare detailed reports for management review
• Support disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery exercises to ensure business continuity in the event of cyber incidents or system failures
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on implementing secure CI/CD pipelines using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting for automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CEH are highly desirable
• Proven experience with computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, TCP/UDP protocols, DHCP, DNS, IPsec VPNs, and network monitoring tools
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux/Unix/macOS environments; experience with system administration tasks is essential
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud architecture best practices for security
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms like Splunk or ArcSight; ability to analyze large data sets for threat detection and incident management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST standards (SP 800 series), ISO , DIACAP; understanding of FISMA compliance requirements
• Skills in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation; experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills combined with data analysis capabilities to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex security issues to technical teams and executive leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,009,299.54 - ₹1,410,296.65 per year
