About Us
Famergy-Tech is an innovative clean energy company specializing in residential energy storage systems and portable power solutions. We are currently developing our proprietary mobile application to enable intelligent energy monitoring and remote device control.
As part of our product digitalization strategy, we are seeking a Mobile App Development Engineer to join our core development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the company's mobile application (iOS and/or Android)
- Implement remote device control functions (battery monitoring, power management, system status display, etc.)
- Develop BLE / WiFi / cloud communication modules
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on BMS and inverter communication protocol integration
- Optimize UI/UX and overall user experience
- Participate in product iteration and feature enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
- Experience with Flutter or React Native is an asset
- Familiarity with IoT or smart device communication is preferred
- Strong coding standards and teamwork skills
Location & Language Requirements
- Candidates based in Windsor, Ontario are strongly preferred
- Applicants from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are also welcome to apply
- Hybrid work model; periodic in-person collaboration required
- Mandarin language skills are considered an asset
Work Eligibility
- Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian Citizen
- Or otherwise legally authorized to work in Canada
- The employer does not provide work visa sponsorship at this time
Compensation
- Full-time or part-time options available
- Compensation will be determined based on experience, technical capability, and working hours
