Experienced Medical Office Assistant & Data Entry Clerk

We are urgently seeking experienced Medical Office Assistants and Data Entry Clerks to join our healthcare team on a full-time or part-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate data management, and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital or medical office settings, with proficiency in medical terminology and patient interaction.

Duties

• Greet and assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures
• Manage patient records accurately through data entry and electronic health records systems
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
• Handle phone inquiries, relay messages, and provide information as needed
• Assist with medication administration and patient care activities under supervision
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Prepare and organize documentation for medical procedures and billing purposes
• Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure seamless clinic operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in a hospital or medical office environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Certification or training in medical assisting or related fields is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the healthcare setting

Pay: $17.20-$26.50 per hour
