Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement and supply chain activities for raw materials, fabricated components, and engineering items.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement of materials such as CS, SS, Alloy Steel, fittings, valves, and bought-out items.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery as per production schedules.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality teams for smooth material flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material planning to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Handle vendor development, price negotiations, and supplier performance evaluation.
• Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and update MIS/ERP data.
• Support cost optimization and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and quality requirements.

Skills Required:

• Good Communication Skills
• Vendor Management & Negotiation Skills
• Knowledge of Procurement, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain Processes
• Basic ERP/MIS Knowledge Preferred
• Understanding of fabrication drawings and engineering materials preferred

Candidate Profile:

• 2–3 years experience in SCM within fabrication or heavy engineering industry.
• B.E. Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Good communication and coordination skills required.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
