Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of multiple dining establishments (Bojangles and Smoothie King) within our hospitality group. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of food service management, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will ensure each restaurant maintains high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while fostering a positive environment for staff and guests alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse teams across various restaurant formats, including casual dining, quick service, and fine dining venues. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency in service quality and food standards
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards aligned with company goals
- Lead hiring, training, and development initiatives to build strong, motivated teams
- Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize food costs
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting, sales analysis, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with kitchen management to oversee food preparation, cooking procedures, and food presentation
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales tracking, reporting, and cash handling
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance team skills
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase restaurant visibility
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in the food industry, ideally overseeing multiple restaurants or large-scale food service operations
- Military experience Preferred but not required
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Strong familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, interviewing candidates, and developing talent
- Background in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence
- Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational efficiencies
- Knowledge of various restaurant formats such as casual dining, quick service & fast food restaurants, fine dining, catering, or hotel restaurants is preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with staff at all levels and ensure smooth operations
