Pet Specialty Customer Service/Sales Associate

We are a growing pet specialty store looking for a hard working individual(s) who have a passion for animals and their nutritional needs. The right candidate(s) will have pet specialty retail experience and/or pet nutrition experience.

The individual(s) needs to be able to work well with others as well as on their own and the ability to lift 40lbs consistently. Open availability is a must!

We pride ourselves on our service to our customers. Superior customer service skills are a required. The right candidate will be comfortable engaging with customers to help meet the required needs of the customer and their pet as well as drive sales.

Our staff work hard and are responsible for a multitude of tasks that include but are not limited to; serving our customers, merchandising the store, rotating stock, breaking down deliveries in a timely fashion and with accuracy.

We are looking for a team member(s) who are interested in a long term position (this is not a seasonal position).

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task is an asset.

• Drivers license is an asset but not necessary
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Must have cash handling experience
• Animal knowledge a must
• Pet specialty is a must (2 years)
• Ability to repeatedly lift and move product up to 40lbs
• Reliable
• Cannot be afraid of dogs (we are a pet friendly store)
