Liquor Store Assistant Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Liquor Store Assistant Manager to help the Executive Beer and Wine Liquor Store manager oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining store standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive sales while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

• Lead and manage store operations on the manager's off days and other shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service while promoting a positive team culture.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and pricing products effectively as designated by manager on when manager is off..
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Help Implement promotional strategies to enhance sales performance and meet store targets.
• Help to Conduct regular assessments of store performance, analyzing sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks related to inventory control, scheduling, and reporting.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse customer bases.
• Strong etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
• Ability to train staff to enhance staff skills and performance.
