Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Physical Security (APAC) at Expedia Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of travel by leading the physical security initiatives across the region. You will be part of the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) organization, responsible for crafting environments that enhance productivity, foster connections, and drive engagement among employees. Your responsibilities will include developing, designing, and overseeing corporate security programs, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading the deployment of physical security technologies.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Generate and implement strategy for handling physical security across the region
  • Develop and maintain organizational metrics, capacity, and workflow for security within the region
  • Craft program plans, budgets, and capabilities for the regional physical security team
  • Manage vendor relations, planning, and Service Level Agreements of the regional security team
  • Ensure adherence to physical security standards and processes, including visitor controls
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, incident management, alarm response, and break-fix issues
  • Consult on design, configuration, and deployment of office security systems across the region
  • Implement and lead physical access control processes and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain security officer staffing requirements across multiple regional sites
  • Identify and handle emerging threats, security incidents, and investigations
  • Lead efforts to conduct security risk assessments and surveys
  • Maintain situational awareness of security-related issues across the region
  • Conduct security investigations and audits; manage gaps and issues to closure
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in corporate security (global experience is advantageous)
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented leader with strong influencing skills
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with physical security technologies, systems, and components
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of incident management, emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity planning
  • Demonstrated track record of increasingly relevant leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills
  • Team management and vendor management experience
  • Demonstrated growth mindset
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed
