Overview
Job Title: SharePoint Migration Lead
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Migration Lead to plan, lead, and execute SharePoint migration initiatives. The role requires strong ownership of end-to-end migration activities, stakeholder coordination, and technical leadership to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SharePoint migration projects , including assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Drive SharePoint region migration (US to Canada preferred) and/or on-premises to cloud (SharePoint Online) migrations.
- Define migration strategy, timelines, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
- Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and minimal business disruption during migration.
- Provide technical guidance to the migration team and act as the primary point of contact.
- Validate migrated content and support user adoption.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience leading SharePoint migration initiatives .
- Hands-on experience with region migration (US to Canada desirable) or on-prem to cloud migration.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
