About the Role

Evolution Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on Flex Energy turbine systems. This role is ideal for a mechanically and electrically capable professional who enjoys field work, technical problem solving, and working with advanced power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbines (including Flex GT333 units)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical systems, generators, and related components
• Work with PLCs and control systems for diagnostics and system verification
• Complete inspections, checklists, and detailed service documentation
• Support commissioning / decommissioning and operational testing activities
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal technical teams
• Adhere to all safety procedures and site requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with industrial equipment, turbines, engines, or rotating machinery preferred
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and generators preffered
• Working knowledge of PLCs and PLC-based control systems preffeed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field locations
• Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments
• Safety certifications (H2S, First Aid, CSTS, etc.) are an asset

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
