About the role The Operator Haulage is responsible for successfully completing all required training, and acquiring and demonstrating your capability to competently perform all required tasks in a safe manner in order to advance to Miner 4 at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation. This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy.

The position will be on an 7/7 (12 – hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.

We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $90,535 to $122,489 CAD.

Key result areas in this role include:

Perform duties with skills acquired as Mine Trainee and Miner 6.

Train and successfully demonstrate ability to operate and obtain required licensing (e.g. scooptram, rock breaker, truck).

Perform tasks as directed under the direction of supervisor.

Consistently work in a safe and conscientious manner.

Comply with all safety procedures.

Wear all required personal protective equipment.

Observe experienced workers to gain and increase knowledge of methods, procedures, and performance standards.

Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.

Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free.

Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements.

Adhere to all relevant corporate policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

About you

As an Operator Haulage, you will possess a Secondary School Graduation Diploma and successfully completed all relevant Common Core training modules to be a Operator Haulage. It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:

Ability to demonstrate competence to perform all skills acquired as Miner 6, with aptitude to progress to next level

Good physical fitness with the ability to work in an underground environment

Competent communication abilities

Contribute to overall success of the team

Flexible, and willing to work on a rotational shiftwork basis

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and interact with others

Willing and able to follow instructions

Hard working and conscientious

Punctual and dependable, with good attendance and safety record

Self motivated

Able to work effectively alone and in a team environment

Flexible team player
