About Us

Evergreen Health Care Management is a growing healthcare organization based in Northern Virginia, providing services including Personal Care, Adult Day Care, Home Health, and Hospice. We are expanding our services and planning to establish an in-house pharmacy to better serve our patients and community.

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support the development and operation of a new pharmacy within our organization. This role will play a key part in ensuring compliance, patient safety, and efficient medication management for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Dispense medications accurately and provide patient counseling
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, and appropriateness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers (RNs, caregivers, and physicians) to optimize patient care
• Maintain proper documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in establishing pharmacy workflows, policies, and procedures
• Support inventory management and medication procurement
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Virginia (required)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
• Previous experience in retail, clinical, or long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare pharmacy billing (a plus)
• Experience with pharmacy systems and electronic records
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Bilingual (Spanish, Korean, or Vietnamese) is a plus

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday (Flexible depending on pharmacy setup phase)

• Competitive salary based on experience
