Solution Engineer – Cyber Resilience

Role Summary

We are seeking a Presales Solution Engineer with strong expertise in Cyber Resilience, Security Testing, and Incident Response. The role will work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams to design technically sound, risk-aligned, and commercially viable security solutions.

Individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them strengthen their security posture across VAPT, Cloud Security, Compliance, and Incident Response programs.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Qualification & Discovery

• Partner with Sales to qualify Cyber Resilience and IR opportunities.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand:
• Business-critical assets and applications
• Threat landscape exposure
• Regulatory drivers (CERT-In, RBI, SEBI, ISO, SOC2, etc.)
• Current security maturity and gap.
• Translate customer challenges into structured technical problem statements.

Solution Design & Scoping

• Design service-based solutions across:
• Web, Mobile, API, Thick Client & Infrastructure VAPT
• Cloud Security Assessments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Red Teaming
• Secure Code Review & DevSecOps
• Incident Response Retainers & Compromise Assessments
• Define scope boundaries, assumptions, deliverables, and timelines clearly.
• Prepare effort estimations, resource planning inputs, and technical architecture approach.
• Develop high-level methodology and testing frameworks aligned with industry standards.

RFP / Proposal Management

• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Draft Scope of Work (SOW), technical approach, methodology, and deliverables.
• Support pricing strategy with effort estimation and resource alignment.
• Ensure proposals are realistic and aligned with delivery capabilities.

Client Engagement & Executive Communication

• Present solutions to both technical teams and CXO stakeholders.
• Articulate:
• Risk exposure and potential business impact
• Compliance implications
• ROI of proactive security investments
• Position Cyber Resilience as a long-term strategic program, not a one-time assessment.

Delivery Alignment & Governance

• Ensure seamless handover to Delivery teams with:
• Clear scope documentation
• Defined success criteria
• Agreed assumptions & exclusions
• Participate in kickoff meetings when required.
• Minimize scope creep and prevent project escalations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Cyber Security (VAPT, Cloud Security, SOC, IR, or GRC).
• Strong understanding of:
• NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls
• MITRE ATT&CK
• CERT-In and regulatory security guidelines
• Hands-on knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and security assessment frameworks.
• Experience drafting SOWs, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness for effort estimation and service positioning.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP / CISM
• CEH / OSCP / CRTP
• ISO 27001 LA/LI
• GCIH / GCIA (for IR domain)
