ETL Data Testing at Ethereum Technologies LLC Reston, VA

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Test Analyst to analyze moderately complex requirements, identify operational problems, and ensure software functionality meets requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong testing, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to mentor and guide a team of testers.

Responsibilities

Analyze moderately complex requirements, operational problems, specifications, and change requests.

Develop test plans and test cases to identify potential code defects.

Prepare and execute accurate and thorough test cases, scripts, and test data within scheduled timelines.

Perform test execution of assigned test cases and document test results.

Research and provide technical support on operational and test system defects, proposing effective solutions.

Analyze test results to ensure functionality meets business requirements and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and software modification.

Collaborate with development engineers to resolve issues and provide feedback for system and software appraisals.

Guide and mentor a team of testers, including associates, contractors, and third-party resources, in day-to-day testing activities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.

In lieu of a Bachelor s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development and/or testing.

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Expert knowledge of software test requirements and protocols.

Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve complex problems.

Advanced knowledge of wireless communications and network systems.

Proficiency in programming languages and ETL data testing.

Strong experience working with databases.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products or equivalent tools.

Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience mentoring or leading a team of testers.

Familiarity with automation tools or frameworks is a plus.
