Role Overview:

We are looking for an individual, full time with a 3 month probation period. The salary for this role will be determined based on experience and will be increased periodically. (The higher end of the salary will only be offered to people with previous experience doing institutional fundraising for non-profits).

Responsibilities

• Grant Research: Identifying foundation, corporate and governmental leads for our non-profit clients
• Grant Writing: Writing winning proposals for our clients
• Donor Calls: Soliciting donors for funds via the phone
• Meeting Attendance: Attending internal and external meetings
• Marketing: Designing marketing material such as Sponsorship Decks and Cases for Support
• Project Management: Tracking progress and coordinating with colleagues - using project management tools
• Outreach to attract new clients: Using a CRM to help find additional clients

Qualifications

• We are looking for people who speak PERFECT English, both written and oral (this is essential and we would ask you to refrain from applying if you do not meet this condition).
• French is an asset
• 5+ years prior grant writing experience
• 5+ years prior non-profit experience
• Excellent Writing skills
• A passion for the non-profit sector
• Digital Fundraising / Marketing experience an asset
• CRM experience an asset
