The focus of this role is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on requirements analysis, business process improvement, and data-driven decision-making to support the program's IT transformation and modernization activities. If you are interested in joining a high-performing team with advancement opportunities, then look no further!</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a team of Jr. developers to develop and deliver capabilities as required by the client.</li> <li>Design new solutions using Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements.</li> <li>Analyze &amp; Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed.</li> <li>Promote code into production.</li> <li>Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed.</li> <li>Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required</li> <li>Ability to work 2 days per week onsite at the Taylor Building in Crystal City</li> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field</li> <li>Experience: 10 years of related work experience</li> <li>Skills: <ul> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li> <li>Prior experience leading a team of Jr. developers to deliver software capabilities on 2 or more projects.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of hands on development experience and proficiency in Python and Pyspark.</li> <li>Three years of experience with Palantir Foundry</li> <li>Experience with Dev/Ops and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.</li> <li>Army functional knowledge and proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.</li> <li>Familiarity with database design and architecture; relational and non-relational</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions</li> <li>Knowledge of cloud architecture: commercial cloud vendors (AWS/Azure)</li> <li>Competence with software engineering tools and processes (estimation, issue tracking, version control, debugging, etc.)</li> <li>Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision.</li> <li>Proven experience in knowledge sharing (i.e., code reviews, solid documentation)</li> <li>Driven, self-directed personality</li> <li>Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Skills/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience implementing RESTful APIs</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster positive outcomes from diverse interests of people and teams</li> <li>Experience working with the DoD</li> <li>Experience working with GFEBS or other SAP ERP system</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong> 5/31/26</p> <p>#LI-SA1</p> </div> </div> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
