Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a UX/UI Designer to join our Ratio.This is accomplished through close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, developing a coherent and functional user experience which addresses real pain points or provides new capabilities to our users. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at leading end-to-end design efforts.

This role will be based remotely in Canada.

A Day in the Life of a UX/UI Designer at Esri Canada:

• Collaborating closely with User Researchers to conceptualize and define user experiences.
• Collaborating with Product Manager to ensure product designs are in line with longer-term product strategies.
• Working with developers to ensure that implementations meet design specifications.
• Presenting and defending your design decisions in discussions with the team.
• Maintaining and evolving our design system.

3+ years’ experience as UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work, including problem definition, process and outcomes.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid understanding of usability principles, user research methodology, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product and Engineering in an agile workflow.
• University degree in UX Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or related discipline is required.

Bonus points for this position:

• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
• Experience with mobile design.
• This role offers a base salary range of $72,000 to $83,000 annually, determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
